Who are we

IDA Trust came into existence through conversations, concerns, and a shared sense of responsibility. It was initiated by a group of like-minded people who believed that social change does not begin with grand declarations, but with genuine intent and consistent action.

We saw that many challenges faced by communities—whether related to livelihoods, education, health, environment, or social care—are deeply connected. Addressing them in isolation often brings temporary relief, but not lasting impact. IDA Trust was therefore shaped as a platform where multiple efforts come together, guided by empathy, practicality, and local understanding.

Our work is inspired by everyday realities. By the patience of those who work the land. By the discipline learned on playgrounds. By the quiet strength of elders, the creativity of artists, the resilience of women, and the curiosity of children. These lived experiences influence how we think, plan, and act.

IDA Trust engages in a wide range of community-focused initiatives—workshops and events, sports and education programmes, food and healthcare support, farmers’ welfare, care for elderly people, environmental protection, cultural and arts promotion, and welfare initiatives for women and children. Each initiative is designed with sensitivity to local needs and respect for cultural and social contexts.

What sets IDA Trust apart is its approach. We believe in walking alongside communities, not ahead of them. We value dialogue over directives, participation over dependency, and long-term wellbeing over short-term outcomes. Our efforts are shaped through collaboration with individuals, volunteers, and institutions who share a commitment to responsible and inclusive development.

IDA Trust continues to grow as an alliance—of people, ideas, and actions—united by the belief that meaningful progress is possible when care, cooperation, and conscience guide our work.
